Hungry Shark World è un gioco sviluppato dalla Future Games Of London (FGOL) per conto di Ubisoft ed è disponibile a partire dal maggio 2016 per iOS e Android.
I requisiti per scaricare il gioco sono:
-Android 4.2+
-iOS 8.0+
Il gioco, disponibile gratuitamente, pesa poco più di 300 mb su Android mentre quasi 900 mb su iOS e purtroppo vi sono presenti annunci, mentre un punto a favore è sicuramente la lingua italiana.
Gameplay:
Come si potrà intuire dal titolo, nel gioco si controlla uno squalo, con lo scopo di mangiare il più grande numero possibile di pesci, uomini e volatili al fine di guadagnare punti. La valuta del gioco è divisa in monete, guadagnabili facilmente nel corso delle partite o completando le missioni e gemme, molto più rare e acquistabili anche con soldi reali. Con le monete e le gemme si può acquistare un vasto numero di oggetti e potenziamenti, tra cui: una mappa, che permette di orientarsi più facilmente all’interno dei mari, vari potenziamenti volti a migliorare alcuni aspetti del nostro squalo come la salute o la velocità oppure ancora squali di dimensioni maggiore che permettono, grazie ai loro migliori attributi, di visitare luoghi che sarebbero altrimenti inaccessibili con lo squalo standard.
Il gioco è l’ultimo di una serie di ben sei capitoli ormai popolare e molto apprezzata per i dispositivi mobili, bisogna però notare un buon miglioramento sia grafico, nonostante non si sia mai ricercata una grafica realistica bensì una più simile ai cartoni, che di gameplay con un sistema di movimento molto intuitivo basato sulla pressione su due lati opposti del device per un controller analogico virtuale per decidere la direzione da una parte e un click per attivare lo scatto che permette di aumentare temporaneamente la velocità e la potenza dello squalo dall’altra. Un altro punto a favore di questo capitolo è la varietà di oggetti acquistabili, pesci commestibili e non, squali utilizzabili e ambienti visitabili che è favorito dal lavoro costante degli sviluppatori sempre molto attivi con gli aggiornamenti.
Proviamolo: opinioni personali dopo una settimana di gioco:
Sicuramente alcuni potrebbero pensare che il gioco sia monotono, ed ad una prima occhiata non si potrebbe dar torto a queste persone, però la varietà dei luoghi esplorabili e l’aumento della difficoltà per portare a termine alcune missioni lo rendono uno dei giochi per smartphone, a mio parere, più completi dell’intero panorama mobile, in aggiunta la più che discreta grafica cartoon-style fa apparire la violenza presente nel gioco molto più attenuata rendendo così un gioco adatto a tutti.
Inoltre con gli ultimi aggiornamenti per Android sono stati ridotti il consumo della batteria e lo spazio richiesto e migliorate le prestazioni.
Il gioco merita di essere provato?
Sicuramente sì, non è rilevante la vostra età per questo tipo di gioco, in più il gioco è disponibile gratuitamente e, a mio parere, può essere giocato sempre, non è il classico gioco banale che lo si gioca solo per pochi minuti mentre si aspetta l’autobus, riuscirà invece a tenervi incollati allo schermo del vostro telefono a lungo!
