Sicuramente per chi è nato negli anni ’90 sarà chiaro di che cosa stiamo parlando; per chi invece non fosse molto ferrato o semplicemente troppo giovane per ricordare è doveroso fare qualche premessa.
I Digimon fecero la loro prima comparsa nel 1997 e a renderli popolari nel nostro paese fu principalmente la serie animata prodotta dalla Toei Animation. Molti inizialmente pensarono a loro come la brutta copia dei Pokemon, ma in realtà sia il design che il concept differivano palesemente.
Innanzitutto ” Digimon” deriva dall’abbreviazione di Digital Monster e il loro luogo di provenienza si trova in un universo parallelo al nostro, il DigiWorld situato appunto nel mezzo delle reti di telecomunicazione presenti sulla terra, per non parlare poi del fatto che i Digimon vengono descritti come creature composte di dati e non come esseri organici.
Una curiosità che non tutti possono sapere è che i Digimon furono creati prendendo in parte spunto dal famosissimo Tamagotchi. Fatte tutte le premesse del caso, quello di cui vi vogliamo parlare questa volta è” Digimon Links”della Bandai Namco, RPG scaricabile gratuitamente sia per iOS che per Android.
Alleva e combatti
Come si sarà capito il gioco si struttura in due parti principali, l’allevamento dei Digimon e i combattimenti.
Iniziando con il primo aspetto possiamo subito dire che il gioco ci permette di gestire da noi l’allevamento dei nostri personaggi. Data la presenza di un vero e proprio villaggio, in cui vedremo scorrazzare anche i nostri amici virtuali, si capisce subito che la cura e la scelta dei compagni sarà del tutto affidata al giocatore.
Provvedere alla raccolta del cibo tramite la fattoria e allenare i Digimon nella loro fase primordiale, sarà l’unica cosa che conterà almeno nelle prime fasi del gioco. Ma tutto questo è solo la punta dell’iceberg poiché la varietà di creature che potremo allevare è pressoché spaventosa, infatti di uno stesso Digimon possiamo trovare varianti sia nella tipologia che nelle caratteristiche; per fare un esempio: Greymon e BlueGreymon (per citarne una) oppure due Agumon ma con skill e statistiche diverse; in questo caso però avremo anche la possibilità di fondere i doppioni tra di loro per aumentarne i valori della resistenza.
Come detto sopra le fasi iniziali del gioco si concentreranno soprattutto nell’allevamento, infatti il gioco divide i livelli raggiungibili dai Digimon in: In-training(stato primordiale), Rookie( fino al lvl 10), Champion ( lvl 30), Ultimate (lvl 50) e in fine Mega ( raggiungibile solo quando si è in possesso dei frammenti adatti) . In più è necessario esaltare il fatto che esiste una sorta di ramificazione per la qualche a seconda degli elementi combinati, uno stesso Digimon, può digevolversi in personaggi diversi.
Per quanto riguarda invece i combattimenti (a turni e 3vs3) è necessario fare una ulteriore scissione tra combattimenti offline e quelli online con le missioni in cooperativa e in pvp.
Off-line : anche qui la varietà fa da padrona poiché potremo scegliere tra daily quest ( diverse a seconda dei giorni della settimana) normal quest o advent quest e per ognuna delle quali riceveremo ricompense diverse, utili alla digevoluzione e non solo. Ovviamente al variare della quest varia anche la sua difficoltà, passeremo quindi dalle normal, molto facili, alle advent molto più complicate in cui anche i nostri Digimon migliori saranno messi a dura prova fin dalle prime fasi di gioco.
Online: Ed è proprio nel momento del bisogno che entra in gioco la fase in cooperativa, affrontare determinati boss in solitaria risulterebbe altrimenti molto arduo e sicuramente occuperebbe molto tempo,per questo motivo tutte le quest potranno essere completate con l’aiuto di due altri giocatori. Quando invece avremo completato un bel numero di missioni, potremo accedere al Colosseo, una sorta di arena interamente dedicata al pvp dove non conviene andare se non si è pronti!!!
Un gioco bello!
Già per il fatto che sia divenuto in poco tempo uno dei giochi più scaricati su mobile basterebbe da sé a spiegare il perché della frenesia con il quale gli appassionati europei stavano aspettando il rilascio, ma volendo essere pignoli effettivamente questo gioco non delude sotto nessun aspetto.
Precisando il fatto che il gioco offre la possibilità di effettuare microtransazioni ovvero acquisti in app , queste non sono assolutamente indispensabili al funzionamento del gioco; si probabilmente per arrivare ad un certo livello si impiegherà più tempo ma non ci sarà in nessun modo impedito e di sicuro l’esperienza in se risulterà più soddisfacente. Ulteriore punto a favore è ( almeno per la nostra esperienza soggettiva) la mancanza di bug, anche per i combattimenti online le animazioni risultano sempre fluide e dinamiche.
Un piccolo appunto che potrebbe essere anch’esso un pensiero soggettivo riguarda la longevità, malgrado tutta la varietà a lungo termine (date anche le meccaniche di gioco) potrebbe risultare quasi come ripetere le stesse azioni, allo stesso fine, per un numero svariato di volte.
