NBA Report: bene Toronto e Lakers
Nessuna partita di cartello nella notte NBA, anche se ci sono state sfide che si sono rivelate molto interessanti soprattutto valutando il particolare momento di alcune franchigie.
Toronto continua a godersi il suo buon momento, grazie soprattutto al recente ingresso in quintetto di un Rudy Gay che ha portato quell’apporto di punti e personalità (32 pt e 7 rimbalzi stanotte contro NY) che sembravano mancare al team canadese. Non bastano infatti i ‘’ soliti’’ 32 di C.Anthony per evitare la sconfitta esterna per i Knicks, che raggiungono la ventesima stagionale (98-100).
Spostandoci ad ovest abbiamo la vittoria dei Lakers sui Trail Blazers(107-111), grazie ad un Kobe in giornata che ne mette 40, quinta volta in stagione che la superstella fa registrare il ‘’quarantello’’ ma prima volta che la cifra porta alla vittoria, ed un Howard che mette a referto 19 punti e 16 rimbalzi regalando la seconda vittoria ai losangelini in gialloviola dopo la morte dell’amato presidentissimo Jerry Buss. Ancora ad ovest i Warriors di uno scatenato Jarret Jack da 30 punti e 10 assitenze ed un David Lee da 25 punti e 22 rimbalzi vincono in casa contro gli Spurs (107-101).Le nuove, esteticamente discutibili, maglie sembrano aver dato la spinta giusta alla franchigia gialloblù.
Ndr: Tim Duncan nella notte ha superato nella classifica marcatori di tutti i tempi Robert Parish portandosi alla posizione numero 23.
Buone prove di squadra per Dallas, Indiana, Boston, che si riprende dalla sconfitta con gli odiati Lakers, Atlanta e Memphis che sconfiggono , in ordine, Hornets, Detroit, Suns, Kings e Orlando.
Battuta d’arresto invece per Brooklyn, Denver e Minnesota rispettivamente sconfitte da: Houston, Wizards e Oklaoma City, questi ultimi con il solito dinamico duo Durant-Westbrook che confezionano 64 punti in due.
